Organic baby food startup Bebe Burp raises $280,000 in follow-on funding from Lead Angels, LetsVenture, Dholakia Ventures and more

baby burp, a Surat-based baby food supplier, announced that it had raised a seed round of $280,000. The investment was led by Lead Angels and Lets Venture. Other prominent investors include Mapro Foods Private Limited, Ivy Growth Associates, Shreeji Brothers, Dholakia Ventures, Jaydeep Deshpande, Navika ventures LLP, Mandar Pramod Dixit, Dr Vikas Gupta, Preetam Goswami, Raghupati Rao and Sumit Malhotra.

In his official statement, Bebe Burp said he plans to use the funds primarily to pursue strategic opportunities and develop new business relationships. The company also plans to invest more in developing new marketing strategies. Subsequently, the funds will support the expansion of the existing product line which includes porridge mixes, snacks and baby puffs.

Shruti Tibrewal, co-founder of Bebe Burp, said, “Our goal has always been to provide mothers with healthy baby food alternatives. We are excited about the recent series of investments which demonstrated the investment community’s confidence in Bebe Burp.

Bebe Burp, which combines Grandma’s traditional touch with her expertise in providing healthy, great-tasting foods for babies, has a growing customer base of over 60,000 moms. With this new investment, the company will focus on extensive marketing and business development to create brand awareness. The remaining funds would be used for administrative purposes, technology development and product line expansion. In addition to business development, the company also plans to hire new talent to expand its internal team to help achieve the company’s long-term goals.

Founded in 2018 by Shruti Tibrewal, Bharat Tibrewal and Chirag Gupta, Bebe Burp claims they are “the best team to solve your little ones’ dietary needs”.

Chirag Gupta has proven to be an expert in operations and logistics; Shruti Tibrewal, a PGDBA, handles production and supplier management, while Bharat Tibrewal is a serial entrepreneur who handles operations and sales at Bebe Burp.
